Google Templates

UC San Diego is now offering branded Google templates available within the university’s Google Workspace. Use these Google Doc and Google Slide templates to elevate your work. Simply confirm you are logged into your UC San Diego account, visit the Google templates page and choose which template you need.

These templates are available in several styles and include the UC San Diego logo, fonts and colors, ensuring your materials are professional and brand compliant.

Select from the following:

  • Agenda
  • Meeting Minutes
  • Memo
  • Presentation
  • Campus Letterhead

How can I access?

There are two ways to easily access the Google templates. Follow either of the instructions below to access Google Slides or Google Docs. If you need help, please reach out to brand@ucsd.edu.

Accessing from the Google Docs or Google Slides page:

  • Log into Google Drive with your @ucsd.edu email.
  • From the Google Docs or Google Slides page, click on the "Template Gallery" button near the top right of the page.
  • Approved templates can be found under the UC San Diego tab in the gallery.

Accessing from your Google Drive homepage:

  • Log into Google Drive with your @ucsd.edu email.
  • Select New +.
  • Highlight Google Docs or Google Slides and click the arrow on the right.
  • Select “From a template”.
  • Select which template you would like to use and enjoy!
