The Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences oversees both the university's clinical enterprise, UC San Diego Health, and its medical schools: UC San Diego School of Medicine, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science.
The Health Sciences logo is reserved for use by the Vice Chancellor's office. For more information, contact University Communications at brand@ucsd.edu.
Logos for the UC San Diego School of Medicine, UC San Diego Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, UC San Diego Herbert Wertheim School of Public Health and Human Longevity Science, and health research units, including Moore’s Cancer Center and the Altman Clinical and Translational Research Institute, follow the standard campus sub-brand style (see the Sub-brand Logos section of this site). The academic and research medicine sub-brand logos are the appropriate logos for any communications that are not solely representative of either the Vice Chancellor’s office or the clinical enterprise.
All print and digital media designs for academic and research medicine should follow the brand guidelines on this website.
To request a School of Medicine, Skaggs School or Wertheim School logo, please contact University Communications at brand@ucsd.edu.
The UC San Diego Health identity is used for the entire clinical enterprise, including major facilities (such as Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center and Jacobs Medical Center) and clinic locations throughout San Diego and Southern California. It should only be used only when communicating with patients or when representing the clinical enterprise.
Branding for UC San Diego Health is managed by Health Marketing and Communications. For more information or to request a UC San Diego Health logo, email healthbrand@ucsd.edu.
